Chicken and Coating

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs For coating
  • 1/2 cup flour For dredging
  • 2 large eggs Beaten, for dipping
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip it in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil to help them crisp up.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through, flipping halfway.

Serving

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing.

Notes

For extra crunch, add grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture. You can also season the flour or breadcrumbs with other spices for an added kick. Flip the tenders halfway through baking for even cooking.
