Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling

  • 1 package Pre-made pizza dough Can substitute with homemade dough.
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Feel free to mix with other cheeses.
  • 1/2 cup Pizza sauce Use extra for dipping.
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni or other toppings Customize with your favorite meats or veggies.

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing on top.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Sprinkle on top for added flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven according to pizza dough instructions.
  • Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into squares.
  • Place a spoonful of pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings on one half of each square.
  • Fold the dough over to enclose the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven. Use parchment paper on baking sheet to prevent sticking. Experiment with different cheeses and toppings. For sweet pizza pockets, use nut butter and jelly or chocolate chips.
