Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread cubes Use day-old or stale bread for the best texture.
  • 1 cup vegetable broth Add more if the mixture seems too dry.
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley Garnish before serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, onions, celery, garlic powder, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the melted butter and vegetable broth over the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add in the chopped parsley and mix well.
  • Form the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

Serve warm as a side dish. These stuffing balls pair well with turkey, chicken, or pork, and can be served with gravy or cranberry sauce.
