  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the flavors.
  • Whipped cream or marshmallows (for topping, optional) Add for extra indulgence.

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Add chopped bittersweet chocolate and cocoa powder, stirring until melted and well combined.
  • If desired, add sugar to taste and a pinch of salt.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired. Enjoy!

Notes
