Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 pieces large 8-inch flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz deli turkey breast slices
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup butter lettuce leaves, dried

Optional Add-ins

  • Cucumber, avocado, red onion, dill, or chives Feel free to customize with these ingredients.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by shredding the cheese, washing the lettuce, and ensuring the cream cheese is soft.
  • Place the tortillas out on a cutting board, slightly overlapping them to ensure there are no gaps.
  • Use a spatula or knife to spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese over each tortilla, leaving about a half-inch border on one edge.
  • Place turkey slices over the cream cheese, overlapping them slightly for complete coverage.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the turkey, then add a light layer of dried lettuce.
  • Starting from the edge closest to you, roll each tortilla tightly away from you, tucking in the filling as you go.
  • Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap, twisting the ends like a candy wrapper, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • After chilling, remove the plastic wrap and use a sharp chef's knife to slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.

Notes

Store any leftover pinwheel wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 5 days. For longer shelf life, keep them unsliced.
